Digitum Consulting respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect on digitumconsulting.com, why, who it is shared with and how to exercise your rights. It is written in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.

Information we collect

When you write to us. The contact form collects your name, your email address, the subject and content of your message and, if you wish, the name of your organization. We collect this information only with your consent, which you give by ticking the checkbox provided.

When you visit the site. Our host, OVHcloud, keeps technical logs needed to run and secure the site, such as your IP address and browser type. To limit abusive submissions, the form also keeps a hashed fingerprint of your IP address, which cannot be turned back into the address. This data is not used to identify you or to build a profile.

Cookies and tracking

The site uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics tools. Fonts are hosted on our own servers: your browser does not contact any third-party service to display them.

On your first visit, a banner lets you choose the level of access to your data: Private, Balanced or Custom. Your choice is stored only in your browser and is never sent to our servers. It will apply to any tool we might add later, such as visit statistics or embedded content. You can change it at any time with the “Privacy preferences” link at the bottom of every page.

How we use information

We use the information from the form for one purpose only: to answer your request and follow up on the resulting exchanges. We do not sell or rent it, and we do not use it for marketing without your agreement.

Disclosure to third parties and outside Quebec

The site and the contact form are hosted by OVHcloud in its Beauharnois data centre, in Quebec. Messages sent through the form are delivered to our mailbox, also provided by OVHcloud.

We use no other provider to process your information, and we do not disclose it to any third party.

Retention

We keep your messages for as long as needed to answer your request and follow up on it, and at most 24 months after our last exchange. They are then deleted.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Access to received messages is limited to the people who need it to answer you. The form is protected against automated submissions and content injection. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information.

Your rights

At any time, you may:

• request access to the personal information we hold about you;
• request its correction if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
• withdraw your consent and request its deletion;
• request that it be provided to you in a structured, commonly used technological format.

To exercise these rights, write to the person in charge of the protection of personal information at infos@digitumconsulting.com or use the contact form and choose the subject “Personal information”. We will reply within 30 days.

If you believe your information has not been handled in accordance with the law, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or to our practices. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
